If you fancy hairing up the hill at Shelsley Walsh then Hagerty is here to help.

The 2024 Hagerty Hill Climb will take place on Saturday 11 May 2024 and just 160 slots are available for drivers to hustle their cars up the historic hill. For the price of £135 drivers are guaranteed at least three runs up the 1000-yard course, with complimentary food and drink also included in the package.

Spectators are welcome with tickets at £25 per car, offering great value for friends and families who visit together. Overnight camping on Friday is available for £30 per pitch for those keen to be onsite early for the 8.30am start.

Based on previous years you can expect to see all manner of amazing machinery in action from vintage racers to modern supercars while competitors will be glad to hear that Hagerty can also purchase Motorsport day insurance to protect their pride and joy.

Although every run is timed it’s a day for fun rather than serious competition, so don’t expect anyone to beat the insane 22.37-second course record set by Sean Gould.

“Hagerty welcomes all types of enthusiast, and our Hill Climb event is a great example of that,” says Hagerty UK Managing Director Mark Roper. “Whatever you drive, be it a priceless Italian supercar, ex-racer or the family hatchback, everyone is welcome to enjoy participating in motorsport at this most historic of venues. Of course, Hagerty is also able to insure cars for a day of hill climbing should owners want additional peace of mind before signing up to take part.”
