Senior Vice President of Product and Design

Willy leads our Product Design, Frontend Engineering and Product teams, which are responsible for design strategy and user experience of our digital products. In partnership with the Engineering and Product leaders, he is also responsible for creating and aligning a product strategy that supports our users’ needs and ensures that research, UI, UX, concepting, prototyping, and testing are integrated into every step of the product and development roadmaps.

Willy’s background includes leading the UX, UI and Research teams at Starbucks in Seattle where he helped build a Universal Design Language, increased annual revenue from 4-11% and landed 24.4 million active users. Additionally, he has served as Vice President of Design, Digital Products at MGM Resorts International and Vice President of Creative and UX at Thrive Market.

Willy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Visual Communications from Seattle Pacific University. He lives in California and enjoys spending time outside with his wife and five kids.
